Breaded Chicken Wings


Ingredients :
- 8 chicken wings -
- 1/2 cups breadcrumbs -
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese -
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped -
- 1/2 tsp paprika -
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley -
- 1 egg, lightly beaten -
- 60g butter, melted -
- 1/4 cup milk -
- 1/2 cup flour -


How to Prepare :
1. Combine bread crums with cheese, onions, paprika, parsley.
2. Combine egg and milk.
3. Toss chicken in flour shaking off excess. Dip in egg mixture. Coat with breadcrumbs.
4. Place in a baking dish in a single layer. Drizzle with butter and bake in a moderate oven for 30 min or until chicken is tender and golden brown.
5. Do not turn chicken during cooking as it will not become crisp then.
6. Serve with tomato ketchup

Sesame Chicken

Ingredients:
* Chicken breast 200gms
* Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
* Soya sauce 1 tbsp
* Chilli sauce 1 tsp
* White vinegar 1 tsp
* Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Procedure:
Cut chicken into thin strips when it is half frozen and half thawed.
Marinate chicken in above sauces and pastes for half an hour.
Roll the marinated chicken pieces in sesame seeds.
Shallow fry on low heat for 15-20 mins or until light golden.
Serve with salad and crisps/fried samosa strips.

Ingredients


140 g- spinach                    5 1/2 cups
2- sole fillets, or haddock 300 g
2 tsp- canola oil            10 mL
1/4- onions, finely chopped 50 g
1- carrots, grated            100 g
salt to taste    
ground pepper to taste    
1/4 cup -armesan cheese, grated    14 g

Before you start


Keep the serving plates warm on the stove while you're preparing the dish.


Method


Preheat the oven to 205°C/400°F.
Prepare the spinach: Wash and drain briefly then transfer it to a pot or saucepan without adding any water. The water trapped in the leaves after gentle shaking is enough to cook them. Add salt, cover and cook over high heat 2-3 min until the leaves wilt. Transfer the spinach to a colander, press to remove excess water, then put it in a baking dish.
Pat-dry the sole fillets, then arrange them over the spinach.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots, then add them to the pan. Sauté 3-4 min, add salt and pepper, then portion them out on top of the fillets. Cover the top with the grated cheese.
Bake in the middle of the oven for about 20 min, until golden-coloured. Serve.

BBQ Chicken Wings


This is a recipe for Malaysian BBQ Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
10-12 chicken wings


For Marinate:

  • 5 shallots (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
  • 5 garlic (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
  • 2 inches of ginger (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
  • 5 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 3 dashes of white pepper powder
  • 3 dashes of sesame oil
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste

Method: 
Marinate the chicken wings for 12 hours. 
Grill over fire, constantly turning them so they are evenly grilled. 
Serve hot.
